VICTIMS OF CRIME COUNSELING SERVICES
TRAUMA AND VICTIM FOCUSED PSYCHOTHERAPY
Crimes have strong and lasting impact on victims. Sexual assault, domestic violence, sexual exploitation, assault, robbery and stalking harms victims and society alike. These crimes impact each victim differently, and care must be given to identify emotional as well as physical injury. The consequence of a crime may include a PTSD syndrome, fear of further injury, rejection by loved ones, shame, an acute stress reaction, loss of employment and loss of housing. An in-depth assessment of each client’s needs and situation is required. Psychological treatment as well as referral to outside care-providers are often needed.

PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING
Psychological and cognitive testing services are often needed to assess youth and adults for disability, to help determine school IEP eligibility, to assess cognitive ability, for psycho-neurological screening, and to determine whether referral is justified for more intensive assessment.
The expense of psychological and educational testing services in our communities are often too costly for the typical client. Dr. Neal offers a spectrum of testing services that can be used to address most referral needs.
